Starting Nursery Aged 2

A child is eligible for a funded two year old place in the term after their second birthday. However, if parents would like their child to attend prior to the funding starting, they can do so following the child's second birthday and will be charged at a rate of £4.50 per hour or £13.50 per session.

Children may be entitled to a 15 hours funded place subject to the family meeting certain conditions. For more information about funding please follow this link.

If a child is not entitled to funding, then parents may choose to pay for their child to attend the nursery following their second birthday or wait until admission at three years of age. Paid sessions are paid at £13.50 per session.

Starting nursery aged 3 or 4

All children are entitled to 15 hours a week of free education on the first day of the term after their third birthday. We are also able to offer places for 30 hours a week of free education for children who are eligible,  If you are not sure if you are eligible, please contact the school or one of the Early Years Team; will be happy to help.

Funded nursery places run in both morning sessions from 8.45am - 11.45am or afternoon sessions from 12.15pm - 3.15pm.

Please follow this link for more information about funded places.

However, if parents would like their child to attend prior to the funding starting, they can do so following the child's third birthday and will be charged at a rate of £13.50 per session.

The admission number is dependent on the birthdates of the children currently attending the nursery.
