Equalities Information

At Lane End Primary School, we aim to reflect the diversity of our local community and society and ensure that the education we offer reduces the chances of social divisions by recognising, celebrating and valuing different backgrounds, lifestyles and identities.

Equalities Statement

Staff and Governors at Lane End Primary School are committed to providing equity in order to ensure equality. This involves tackling the barriers to learning regardless of race, religion, gender, disability and  economic disadvantage. Lane End Primary School actively seeks and values opportunities for Staff, Pupils, Parents and Carers to celebrate diversity within the school and community whilst challenging bullying and stereotypes, creating an environment which champions respect for all.
