Music
Through our music teaching, Lane End pupils will listen to, appraise and be inspired by music from a wide range of contexts, so building an appreciation through an authentic music experience. Links are made between current styles that children are familiar with and those of the past by looking at similarities between performance, purpose, features and culture. Performance, composition and theory are a key component of learning, whether that be considering tempo, volume or timbre of singing, for example.
