Maths
At Lane End Primary School, we equip our children with tools to make them competent Mathematicians. We are committed to ensuring our children are fluent in number facts and Mathematical operations. To achieve this, we teach a mastery curriculum through White Rose maths scheme. Oracy skills are embedded in Maths lessons as we encourage children to ‘talk Maths’ through the correct use of Mathematical vocabulary. Children are then able to apply their mathematical knowledge to reason and problem solve.
The end points for maths are taken from the National Curriculum requirements.
